Black Book

Black Book is for players who enjoy slow, slightly eerie stories and want something a little different from the usual card game. You play as Vasilisa, a girl who refuses the witch's fate she was born to, loses her fiancé, and sets out after a demonic artifact. Along the way you help villagers with their troubles, fighting demons and performing exorcisms. Why grab it: - At first, your time goes to card battles: you collect spells, build your deck, and learn to read the board quickly. - The demons you summon have a life of their own, and idle ones will cause trouble, so you have to keep them busy. - It mixes card combat with an investigative quest, which sets it apart from most card RPGs. - There are plenty of side quests and hidden folk tales, and the in-game encyclopedia on Slavic myth helps you make sense of the local legends. When you check out, the key appears on your order page. Activate it on Steam; the key is for the Global region. A fusion of card-based RPGs and Adventure games, “Black Book” is a haunting tale of a young sorceress, who gave her life to serve the dark forces. Dive into the cold, yet alluring world of Slavic folktales - and uncover the secrets that hide in the darkness. A young girl named Vasilisa, destined to become a witch, decides to throw her fate away and marry her beloved - but that dream is shattered when her betrothed dies under mysterious circumstances. Aching for her lost love, Vasilisa seeks out the Black Book - a demonic artifact, said to be powerful enough to grant any wish to the one who uncovers all 7 of its seals.
