Description

System requirements

Oaken, a turn-based tactical roguelike set in the spirit inhabited world. Explore the Great Oak, gather allies and trinkets, learn to use the positioning for your advantage, choose how to upgrade your cards. Wake the spirits and save the Oak!

Oaken suits players who enjoy slowly untangling tricky situations and don't mind starting over a few times. It's a world that feels grown inside an ancient tree, where the spirits quietly worry about what went wrong and you set out to find out why. What to expect: - Your first sessions go to learning how the deck works: which spirits pair well and which are better held back. - Battles play out on a hex grid, and turn order often matters more than raw strength. - The world map is generated anew each run, so every attempt looks different, which keeps things fresh. - Relaxed mode makes the story easy to enjoy, while hard mode will test even experienced players. You receive a Steam activation key for the Europe region. It appears on the order page right after payment, and then you just activate it in Steam following the instructions. To buy the Oaken Europe key, place your order on this page. The world of Oaken is a mythical place, existing in a not easily defined space and time. It is stretched among the branches of the Great Oak. Its inhabitants are spirits which listen to the same voice, called the Oak Song. The loss of that voice starts a series of events leading into a struggle which may either heal or destroy the Great Oak. - Roguelite, hero-oriented campaign with deck management. - A mystical world inhabited by spirits with celtic and tribal vibes. - A randomly generated world map with tons of levels, bosses and events to be discovered. - Unique, highly tactical battles on a hexagonal grid, where position and rotation is everything. - Upgrade your spells and spirits the way you want. - Easy to learn, hard to master - chill and challenge modes suitable for any player.
