If you like puzzles where you think with your hands and trace a signal through patch cables, The Signal State is worth your time. It's a calm game built around a modular synth on screen: you wire up modules, listen and watch the sound change, and slowly learn the logic. The mood is quiet, but the urge to crack one more puzzle hits fast, especially when the answer doesn't come on the first try. What to expect: - The first evenings go to getting comfortable with cables and modules, and then you start reading circuits almost at a glance. - It works just as well solo or with friends, whether you're swapping ideas or racing to finish levels first. - Sandbox mode gives you total freedom, and plenty of players lose hours there just poking at the signal. - If you want your own challenges, the puzzle builder lets you make one and then browse what others uploaded to the Steam Workshop. You can tweak the look too, with colors and three cable drawing styles.
