This test is for people who want to know how fast a graphics API handles draw calls, not just what FPS a game shows. It suits hardware enthusiasts who like comparing setups and digging into where performance actually goes. The highlights: - A direct side-by-side of DirectX 11, DirectX 12 and Vulkan on the same scene, so the difference shows up in the numbers. - You can run it on different graphics cards and processors and see how the results shift. - The add-on works alongside the base 3DMark, so no separate install is needed. - It's a bit of tech history too: the test came out in 2015 with Windows 10 and DirectX 12, and plenty has changed since.
