Age of Mythology: Retold - New Gods Pack: Demeter (DLC)

This expansion is for players who already know Age of Mythology: Retold and want a fresh twist on the usual routine. Everything here revolves around the land: crops, growth, and how quickly you can turn a rival's fields into wasteland. If you enjoy breaking an enemy's economy rather than just building your own, this set of gods is worth a look. The highlights: - Demeter's Wither burns trees, fields and berry bushes along the path of her army, and the opponent soon realizes they won't get far without food. - Pan turns the battlefield into a peaceful meadow where buildings and units cannot attack, forcing you to rethink your whole approach. - Gestia's hamadryads hide as trees and strike from ambush, so an enemy scout may miss the most dangerous threat on the map. - Persephone and her invasion of the underworld add an unexpected move to familiar battles that is worth experimenting with. You can get Age of Mythology: Retold - New Gods Pack: Demeter (DLC) as a Steam gift in any region: send your quick invite link, and the bot will add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. The base game Age of Mythology: Retold must already be on the account. The Goddess of Growth has awakened, bringing new life and new danger to the battlefield. New Gods Pack: Demeter introduces a major new Greek goddess, three distinct minor gods, powerful myth units, and a fully voiced Mythical Battle that expands the world of Age of Mythology: Retold. Demeter, the revered goddess of harvest and renewal, brings a playstyle centered on terrain control and the rise and fall of resources. Her devastating god power, Wither, sweeps across the map and destroys farms, trees, and bushes in a single wave. This power can halt enemy food production, cut off supplies, and force new strategies. Her myth unit, the Harpy, dominates the skies by lifting enemy units into the air and sending them crashing to the ground. Beyond Demeter, three new minor gods reshape your strategy in bold ways: - Pan, guardian of the wild, specializes in battlefield control. Arcadian Meadow creates a peaceful field that stops all attacks from units and buildings caught inside its glow. His Lykaon moves through the world disguised as a villager until the moment it strikes with its true strength. - Hestia, goddess of hospitality, supports growth and stability. Her Communal Hearth offers defensive strength and resource bonuses, and it can convert enemy units to your side. Her Hamadryad hides as a tree when idle, allowing for infiltration, scouting, and ambush. - Persephone, queen of the underworld, commands power over life and death. Her dramatic god power, Underworld Invasion, revives the last one hundred fallen units as spectral Eidolons under your control, at the cost of every town center you own. Her Sirens lure enemy troops with their haunting song, pulling them away from safety. A new fully voiced Mythical Battle called Silent Sanctuary follows Chiron and Orpheus on a dangerous descent into Hades. Their goal is to recover Demeter’s sacred relics and restore balance to the suffering lands that worship her. The journey takes them through shifting terrain, ancient threats, and the heart of the underworld. With fresh god powers, unconventional myth units, and a story rooted in renewal and the cycle of life, the Demeter God Pack offers fertile ground for new strategies and new legends. Command nature, shape the world, and lead your civilization to victory.
