This expansion is for players who already know Age of Wonders 4 and want something new in their usual rhythm of matches. The mood is calm and creative: you spend more time building than fighting, and every new find changes your plans for the next few turns. The highlights: - At first, your time goes to exploring the dwarven halls and the living golems, which is a different way to grow your empire. - You can play solo, but forging and building armies is especially fun to talk through with friends. - The new forging system lets you shape warriors and items to your own style instead of taking a ready-made set from the base game. - New story worlds and books give you reasons to come back, even if you have already finished the main campaign.
