The official video game soundtrack for the game Aground. Developed by Fancy Fish Games.

This soundtrack is for people who like music that keeps them company while they do other things, and who enjoy something a bit odd. It sounds lively and a little strange, with a feel of old console days but no nostalgic whining. If you play Aground and want the music on its own, this is exactly what you need. What you'll like: - The bright funk grooves and synths hook you fast, and after a few tracks you're humming along. - The deluxe edition adds seven tracks that never appeared on the original album, so familiar pieces mix with fresh ones. - Two tracks come from Deity Quest, a nice bonus for fans of that game. - Three piano sheet music arrangements by David Peacock are handy if you want to play the music yourself. To buy Aground Soundtrack Deluxe Edition as a Steam gift, send us your Steam Quick Invite link after checkout. The bot will add you as a friend and send the soundtrack as a gift to your account, and the base game Aground needs to be in your library. The soundtrack from Aground pushes the status quo of what a typical video game soundtrack in the Western part of the world is perceived as. Aground is certainly inimitable and in great measure to be combined with complete originality and euphony. Many of the pieces bring excitement, nostalgia and joy to the players/listeners. Each track is carefully crafted to compliment hours of game-play never to become monotonous. It conflates funky rhythms with psychedelic synths in juxtaposition of idiosyncratic time signatures that have never been used in the history of video game music ever before. This deluxe edition of the soundtrack (the original of which was released in 2019) includes 7 additional tracks never heard before, 2 tracks originally from the game Deity Quest, and 3 pieces of sheet music transcribed and arranged for solo piano by David Peacock: "Ancient Aquatic Energy," "Brave Crusader," and "Nightly." CREDITS released November 20, 2020 "Aground (Original Game Soundtrack) [Deluxe Edition]" was made possible by the following individuals: Chase Bethea: Composer Isa Alcántara: Album Artwork Kyle Johnson: Mastering Engineer (Moontech Studios)
