System requirements

A unique new hero to start your campaigns with! Comes equipped with a tailored set of talents and equipment, and offers many new exciting scenarios and opponents. Make that powder go BooM!

This expansion is for players who have already finished Banners of Ruin and want something fresh. You get a new hero who plays differently: here everything revolves around mixing powder cards and detonating explosions, not the usual straightforward tactics. If you like experimenting with builds, this is a good fit. The highlights: - The first hours go into finding card combinations that stack up Explosion charges for bigger hits. - The hero's talents are enough to build very different setups, so the same scenario can play out in new ways. - There are three new enemy types, so your old habits will need a rethink. - Seven new scenarios add a solid chunk of content on top of the base game. To get Banners of Ruin - Powdermaster (DLC) as a Steam gift, send us your Steam quick invite link and we will add you as a friend and send the expansion to your account as a gift. The base game Banners of Ruin needs to be on your account already. Infiltrate the city of Dawn's Point with an exciting new character - The Powdermaster! This unique hero has a set of tailored abilities; from Talents only he can access, to specialised equipment and upgrades. Upgrade his armour and weapons as you battle through the streets, encountering new scenarios and enemies. Some of these will only appear when playing with the Powdermaster, whereas others are added as global content, for any future playthroughs. The Powdermaster must be chosen as a solo starter character, who must survive the entire duration of a campaign, but you can still recruit additional party members along the way! This character has a unique hero ability; mixing powder cards. When you have powder cards in your hand (Red, Pink, Yellow or Black), you can discard them to gain stacks of 'Boom' - a new status effect specific to the Powdermaster! Pro tip: you'll gain more Boom for discarding powders of more than one colour. The Powdermaster's Grenade deals stacks of Boom as damage - racking up some crazy numbers - and many of his Talents use this status in various interesting ways. What's in this DLC? - A new unique Hero Character! - New cards including 10 Powdermaster Talents. - 3 new Enemies! - 7 new Scenarios!
