Description

System requirements

A first person melee horror game where you use rusty tools to brutalize a gang of serial torturers in the remote Appalachian Forest.

For fans of uneasy horror where the dread comes from the atmosphere and what you see on screen. The game is grimy, rough and often uncomfortable, with a shaky camera and grainy footage that keeps you on edge from the first minute. What you'll like: - Early on, your time goes to finding improvised weapons like hammers, pipes and planks, and every hit feels heavy - The environment works against enemies too, letting you kick them into dangerous parts of the location - Snapping photos of gruesome scenes is more than a gimmick: it restores your health and adds a strange tension - Abandoned farms, factories and clubs in the Appalachians feel like something really went wrong there To buy the Butcher's Creek Steam gift, place your order and send your Steam friend invite link. The bot will add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. The key works in any Steam region. A troubled loner with a hunger for cinematic gore finds himself on the other side of the camera when rumors of authentic snuff videotapes lead him to an abandoned cabin near Butcher's Creek, Pennsylvania. What starts as illicit urban exploration becomes a fight for survival when he's captured by a gang of sadistic killers. Now his only option is to pick up a box cutter, a hammer, a pickaxe, or whatever else is at hand, and unleash a little video violence of his own. FEATURES - Use hammers, axes, pipes, 2x4s, box cutters, and more to brutalize anything that stands between you and freedom - When all else fails, the level itself can be a weapon. Kick props into enemies, or enemies into environment hazards. - Photograph gruesome murder scenes to fulfill your dark desires and regain lost health - Explore decaying farmhouses, collapsing factories, and seedy strip clubs in a forgotten corner of the Appalachian Forest - Experience a unique aesthetic combining the gritty shot-on-video look of found footage with the photosourced visual style of Source Engine games - An exercise in genuine audio/visual atmospheric discomfort - Learn more about the bizarre nightmare world introduced in Squirrel Stapler and The Pony Factory
