Description

System requirements

The Academy Game Pack is a tribute to the long and noble chess playing tradition in Russia that has produced some of the greatest players of all time, and literally thousands of Grandmasters.

This add-on is for players who already own Chess Ultra and want the board to look different. It adds no new rules or modes, but it brings the feel of an old Russian chess school: warm halls, a quiet and orderly mood, and pieces you'll enjoy looking at between moves. The highlights: - The chess set is carved in the style of the northern masters from Kholmogory, and you notice it right away on the board. - The setting is inspired by academies where future grandmasters train, so games feel calm and almost museum-like. - The pack works on its own or alongside other sets and environments, so you can build the look you like. - It's a DLC, so you'll need the base game Chess Ultra on your account. You receive it as a Steam gift: send us your Friend Code link, we add you as a friend and send the add-on to your account. Order Chess Ultra Academy game pack (DLC) as a Steam gift and we'll take care of the rest. The Academy Game Pack is a tribute to the long and noble chess playing tradition in Russia that has produced some of the greatest players of all time, and literally thousands of Grandmasters. Russia is synonymous with chess, it is deeply embedded in Russian culture, and has been in their DNA since first arriving from the Middle East in the 9th century. The beautiful but simple chess pieces are inspired by one of the rarer sets made in the town of Kholmogory, famous for its talented Russian chess carvers. The location is inspired by the academies that produce so many great players and host elite tournaments. Follow in the footsteps of the Russian Grandmasters that played in the halls of the academy and immerse yourself in Chess Ultra. This pack contains a chess set & an environment. These can be used separately and paired with all other sets and environments in game.
