Colonize is for players who enjoy building slowly and planning ahead. There are no fights or enemies here, just the everyday problem of keeping your settlers fed, housed and warm. The mood is calm and almost meditative, but you will probably find yourself staring at the supply numbers longer than you meant to. What to expect: - In the first hours you will be putting up the first houses, finding water and working out how much food the winter will need. One wrong estimate shows up quickly in the colony. - It is a single-player game, so you can take your time and play at your own pace without pressure. - Three scenarios inspired by real history: Roanoke, Plymouth and Bermuda. Each has its own resources and its own challenges, so boredom does not set in fast. - Difficulty can be adjusted, so you can pick a relaxed run or make management genuinely demanding.
