Three new national focus trees are the heart of this expansion. The minor powers of Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey each have new alternate historical paths to follow as they resist incursions into the strategic sea lanes of the Back and Aegean seas.

This expansion is for players who are tired of great powers and want to run a small nation squeezed between stronger neighbours. The mood is tense: straits, politics, and hard choices between alliances and your own path. What you'll like: - Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey each get their own national focus tree, and they play differently. - In Bulgaria you can side with Germany or try to keep real independence. In Greece you decide how to deal with Metaxas in power. - Turkey is no longer an empire after the war, and you choose whether to follow Kemal's reforms or bring back the sultanate. - New music, new soldier models for the Balkan and Turkish armies, and voice lines for the characters.
