Description

System requirements

DLC "Lonely Mountain" adds a new type of world with a captured dwarf fortress that needs to be liberated. The gameplay is focused on survival - explore the looted fortress, clear debris, and search for valuable items.

This expansion is for players who are tired of endless mining and want something harder. Instead of a warehouse, you get ruins: an old dwarven fortress overrun by monsters, and you have to win it back one piece at a time. The mood is tense and a bit eerie, but not grim for the sake of it. Why grab it: - Your first sessions go to clearing rubble and hunting for caches, and resources now have to be used carefully instead of stockpiled by the mountain. - The fortress is a maze of secret rooms, so you will be doubling back to check the corners you missed. - Recovered gear needs repairing, which means building workbenches and extra storage, and the tech tree was reworked around that. - Monster waves keep pouring out of hidden passages in the mountain, and the level changes as you go instead of staying static. The expansion requires the base game Craft The World on your account. You receive it as a Steam gift: send us your friend invite link and we add you as a friend and send the game to your account. Buy Craft The World - Lonely Mountain (DLC) as a Steam gift here, for any account region. DLC Lonely Mountain adds a new world type to the game. Monsters have occupied a dwarven fortress and it's up to you to take back their home. You're playing to survive. You won't be able to obtain and process unlimited quantities of ore, food, and other resources. You'll need to explore the looted fortress, clear away the rubble, and open hidden stashes in search of anything that might be even the least bit valuable. DLC features: - New campaign level designed for experienced players. - Dwarven fortress that looks like a large labyrinth of secret rooms. - Modified Tech Tree focused on repairing objects and equipment found inside the fortress. - Search for lathes and additional stockpiles to establish manufacturing and repair found objects. - New mechanic of the waves of monsters that appear out of the hidden passages inside the mountain. - Objects and structures in the new level can now be partially damaged or repaired. - New monsters and beasts as well as tons of new objects, structures, and building blocks.
