Description

The Original Soundtrack of Cris Tales, a love letter to retro JRPGs that aims to innovate in the genre, developed by Dreams Uncorporated/SYCK, published by Modus Games, is composed by Tyson Wernli.

This soundtrack is for anyone who loves old-school Japanese RPGs and remembers how much the music carried the mood in them. If you played Cris Tales, these tracks will take you back to its world even when you are away from the game. The sound is warm and a little bittersweet, with a sense of adventure running through it. What to expect: - The music feels alive: the same theme shifts mood from scene to scene, and catching those changes is part of the fun. - Character leitmotifs are recognizable from the first notes, so you can listen straight through or jump between tracks. - The rhythmic pieces suit work or a walk, and the lyrical ones suit a quiet evening. - It is the work of a single composer, so the album feels cohesive rather than a random mix of tracks. To buy Cris Tales Original Soundtrack as a Steam gift, send us your Steam friend invite link and we will send the soundtrack as a gift to your account. The base game Cris Tales must be in the account's library. The Original Soundtrack of Cris Tales, a love letter to retro JRPGs that aims to innovate in the genre, developed by Dreams Uncorporated/SYCK, published by Modus Games, is composed by Tyson Wernli. He grew up inspired by the music of Yasunori Mitsuda, Nobuo Uematsu, and Koji Kondo. With Cris Tales, Wernli set out to create a soundtrack which paid homage to the games of his childhood while also establishing his own voice in the genre through use of leitmotifs, strong rhythms, and lyrical melodies.
