DayZ Soundtrack

This soundtrack is for people who already know DayZ and want to hear its world away from the screen. It is not plain game music: the tracks are remixes that sound dark and tense, but now and then they settle into something calm. It works well as background while you do your own things. What hooks you: - The tracks stand on their own, so you can listen on the way to work, at your desk or before sleep. - Dikolson's take is clearly different from a typical game OST, with more electronics and experiments. - There are 10 pieces in total, so the album is easy to replay and pick out details from. - Files come in MP3 and FLAC, so you can pick the format that suits your speakers or headphones. Behind the Music: From the DayZ Team and Dikolson After years of requests, Bohemia Interactive knew it was time to bring the auditory aspect of DayZ to life. To accomplish this, the significant task of creating the game's soundtrack was entrusted to Dikolson, a name already celebrated within the realms of experimental electronic music. Not only does Dikolson bring a rich history of album releases and worldwide performances to the table, but his collaboration on multimedia projects and with the band Khoiba alongside Ema Brabcová showcases his versatility and creativity in music composition. The inception of DayZ's soundtrack started with a clear vision from Adam Franců, the Creative Lead, who envisioned dark ambient tones. This initial direction laid the groundwork for what would become a meticulously crafted auditory experience.
