Explore a relaxing Arboretum, wade through a noxious Swamp and take on a new boss in this early game content designed to expand the Dead Cells universe.

If you have already run through Dead Cells again and again and want to revisit the early stages with a different mood, this expansion is made for you. It is a gross and cozy world of killer mushrooms, mutants, and toads in the swamp, where every step asks for attention. Why grab it: - Your first sessions go to exploring the Dendrarium and the Exiles' Swamp, which feel fresh even though the layouts are familiar. - The new boss is roughly as tough as the Gatekeeper, so he won't wall you, but he will make you watch his patterns closely. - Two new levels replace the usual starting areas and give you a reason to replay the opening of the game. - The Tick Queen's Nest adds a final stop to the route, and it feels like a complete chunk of the story. The two new levels and their monsters are alternatives to Promenade of the Condemned/Toxic Sewers and Ramparts/Ossuary/Ancient Sewers, with the boss designed to be on par with The Concierge, so hopefully it’ll spice up your early game runs once you’ve played through the base game.
