Play the enhanced version of the original game released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997. Years have passed since you stopped Hell’s invasion of Earth. Quarantined for humanity’s safety, the UAC research facilities on Mars were abandoned and forgotten...until now.

If you enjoy shooters where you have to keep moving and firing without hesitation, DOOM 64 is a solid pick. It feels darker and tighter than the usual DOOM, with narrow corridors and monsters that can show up from around any corner. The story is simple, but the atmosphere is real and the action doesn't let up. What you'll like: - Early on, your time goes to the sealed ORC base on Mars, where you push through cramped corridors and dim rooms with growing tension. - Ammo is never plentiful, so you'll think about where to aim and when to fall back. - The 2020 enhanced edition runs well on modern PCs and consoles, with controller support, widescreen modes and 60 frames per second. - Beyond the main levels there are the Lost Levels, which continue the story and give you more to play through. You can buy DOOM 64 as a Steam gift here: after payment, send us your Steam quick invite link, and we'll add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. Originally released on Nintendo 64 in 1997, DOOM 64 is an action first-person shooter and a direct sequel to the events of DOOM II. In celebration of DOOM’s 25th anniversary, an enhanced version of DOOM 64 was released on PC and consoles in 2020 and can now be played here. Story Years have passed since you stopped Hell’s invasion of Earth. Quarantined for humanity’s safety, the UAC research facilities on Mars were abandoned and forgotten...until now. A signal from a degraded satellite suggests a single entity remains, and it has the power to resurrect the demons. As the only surviving marine who fought Hell’s forces, you are sent on a lone crusade to hunt down the Mother of Demons and stop a renewed demonic invasion. Features Released in 2020 to celebrate DOOM’s 25th anniversary, this enhanced version makes it even easier for players to enjoy the original game on modern platforms. Features include: - Upgraded visuals - Improved mouse and keyboard controls - Gamepad/controller support - Widescreen resolution support - Native 60 FPS support - More than 30 action-packed levels - Additional “Lost Levels” continuing the story
