The game of your dreams just dropped, DUCK SEASON, a hunter with ridiculous graphics. Luckily, it's summer vacation and Mom just surprised you with a one day rental of it! Unfortunately, as you binge play it becomes apparent that all is not right with Duck Season...

Duck Season is for players who enjoy slow, strange stories where unease builds quietly. You play as a kid who rents a brand new game for the console on a summer day in 1988, and it doesn't take long to realize something about it is off. The mood is personal and nostalgic: sunny afternoons and familiar things, with darkness slowly showing through underneath. The highlights: - Your first sessions go to poking around the house and the neighborhood, checking odd little details and piecing together what is happening. - It captures the feel of old films and VHS tapes, with short movies found on cassettes that work better than plain text dumps. - Seven endings and dozens of secrets make it worth replaying to see what is hidden between the scenes. - Seven mini-games for your console add unexpected turns and break up the heavy atmosphere. To buy Duck Season as a Steam gift, send your fast invite link, and the bot will add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. Summer 1988 and your mom has just rented the coolest new game for your Kingbit Entertainment System. As you play over the course of the day it becomes apparent something is different about this game than the other games you own. Duck Season is a throwback to the golden age of 1980's gaming and movies with a hint of horror in a Spielburgian universe. Re-live a slice of childhood as you transported to an eerily familiar memory and play out the dark story that unfolds over a single day/night as your imagination takes over. - Seven unique endings - Seven mini games to play on your Kingbit Entertainment System - Dozens of Easter eggs and hidden secrets - Realistic virtual environments - Multiple short films found on VHS tapes - Additional mysterious sub plots
