Elin is for players who like settling into a world slowly and don't mind starting from nothing. It follows on from Elona, keeping the roguelike spirit but opening up the map and making the consequences of your choices easier to see. You don't work through chapters on a checklist here; you decide what to do next. What you'll like: - The first hours are about staying alive: finding food, sheltering from the night and not dying to the first unpleasant creature you meet. - Your companion and pets quickly become part of daily life, and exploring gets much harder without them. - Building your own home and a small base gives a real sense of progress, even if you're just digging and gathering resources. - Content is procedurally generated, but locations and characters are hand-crafted, so the world feels coherent rather than like random tiles.
