FINAL FANTASY VI

This one is for anyone who loves classic Japanese RPGs and is ready to lose a few evenings to a good story. The mood is melodramatic: a world left without magic after a long war, and a young woman who suddenly finds it awakening inside her. What hooks you: - Your first sessions go to meeting a large cast, each with a personal story that keeps pulling you back. - The Magicite system makes you think about who learns what, and that choice changes how battles play out. - Quality-of-life touches like auto-battle and the option to turn off random encounters make the old mechanics much easier to enjoy. - The opera scene in the middle of the game stays with you, with vocal parts recorded specially for this re-release.
