Description

System requirements

Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Foundation is for people who like laying out a city piece by piece without staring at a grid. The mood is calm: nobody rushes you, and spending a week on one district doesn't feel like wasted time. What hooks you: - Buildings come together from separate modules, and an hour in you'll be swapping roofs and towers just because it looks better. - Zoning works like a pencil: you mark where houses go, where roads get paved, where trees come down, and the town grows almost on its own. - You can run the economy your way: taxes, trade with neighbours, production chains. Either build and decorate at ease or dig into the numbers. - Three estates of the kingdom, workers, clergy and nobles, each need their own attention, and that's what keeps the settlement stable.
