Description

System requirements

Breach of Trust is the second DLC for Frostpunk 2, featuring a scenario that takes you through a trial by fire as you struggle to overcome an erupting volcano crisis in the city of New Edinburgh.

This expansion is for players who have already finished Frostpunk 2 and want to get back into its bleak, gripping world, where every decision leaves a mark on the people you lead. The mood is tense: the ground shakes, ash blocks the sky, and your city is running out of room to breathe. Why grab it: - The first hours go to learning the new threats, the tremors and volcanic nights, which force you to rethink the plan you had. - The factions are more than scenery, each with its own history and its own idea of how to survive, and making deals with them is harder than it looks. - The neighboring colony on the frozen lake offers three paths: trade, pressure, or full conquest, and each choice noticeably changes how your run unfolds. - Two new scenario maps and five new buildings give existing saves fresh goals to chase. You receive the game in Steam as a gift: send your quick invite link, and we will add you as a friend and send the expansion to your account. You can buy Frostpunk 2: Breach of Trust (DLC) Steam gift here, with Global region compatibility. This new tale of humankind's survival takes you to the city of New Edinburgh, built near a volcano destabilised by the reckless use of geothermal energy to power its Generator. New Edinburgh faces grave danger. With the Old Captain deposed and the city's grounds trembling, it's time for you to take the helm as the First Citizen. But beware: a periodic Vote of Trust will serve as a tangible check on your approval rating. And once unrest rises and volcanic ash blankets the sky, the only safe haven is a nearby colony set on a frozen lake. As inferno looms, will you foster trust or unleash hellfire? From the same fire that destroys, unity can be born. Key New Features - A gripping story exploring the fate of New Edinburgh and its former colony, Aurora. - 5 unique Communities and Factions, each with distinct backgrounds, identities, and ideologies - Lethal new environmental hazards, featuring the Tremors and Volcano Night mechanics - New narrative events and new custom gameplay mechanics providing fresh challenges - Independent Colony - navigate relations with the independent colony through peaceful trade, forceful extortion, or total conquest - 2 new scenario maps - 5 new buildings and hubs to reinforce your city's infrastructure - New laws
