Zurich Airport (previously known as Zurich-Kloten) is Switzerland’s largest airport. Its terminal opened in 1953 and expansion began almost straight away to handle the rapidly increasing traffic demands. The airport has three runways, ranging from 8,200 feet to 12,100 feet in length, and three docks - A, B and E.

This add-on is for anyone who finds FSX's empty runways a bit too empty and wants a real airport to fly into. Zurich-Kloten is rebuilt from 0.5 m aerial photos, so the ground textures, buildings and vehicles look like they were captured from a low pass. The mood is calm and workmanlike, like a controller who knows every taxiway by heart. The highlights: - Your first approaches come together quickly: ILS, VOR and NDB behave just like the original, so you'll find your rhythm fast. - The airport looks different at night, with runway and taxiway lighting matching the real layout and baked shadows giving the terminals real depth. - ADGS docking guidance and ground vehicle routes push you to pay attention to the apron, not just the runway. - High-speed exit taxiways and three runways of different lengths give you plenty of variety for practicing different landing setups.
