Golden Idol Investigations: The Curse of the Last Reaper (DLC)

Description

Shortly after the events of The Case of the Golden Idol a pirate captain hid mysterious treasure. Follow his tracks and a group of explorers 130 years later unearthing the lost curse.

This DLC suits players who already finished The Rise of the Golden Idol and want more of its mix of detective work and pirate lore. The mood is gloomy but gripping: you piece together scraps of old papers as if you were digging through them yourself. What to expect: - The story runs across two timelines, 1797 and 1927, and you have to link them to understand what happened aboard the Last Reaper. - You assemble torn fragments of an ancient parchment into a treasure map, and that puzzle holds your attention nearly as much as the plot. - Four separate scenarios cover the mutiny on board, so each chapter reveals another side of the events. - Instead of the usual evidence hunting, you read ruins and wreck remains as historical documents, which feels fresh. To buy Golden Idol Investigations: The Curse of the Last Reaper (DLC) as a Steam gift, place your order and send us your Steam quick invite link. We add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. The base game, The Rise of the Golden Idol, must be on the account for the DLC to run. This swashbuckling adventure spans across two interconnected timelines -1797 and 1927- challenging you to piece together a fragmented past. This tale is a stand-alone DLC, can you piece together the scrolls of history? Split Timelines Set sail on The Last Reaper in 1797 with pirates, hidden treasure and cursed artefacts. Then fast forward to 1927, by the press of a doubloon, and unearth the wreckage. Meticulously uncover the facts amongst the ruins as an intrepid historian. Wavering Loyalties Unrest lurks on cursed waters, when a disagreement erupts onboard. Uncover history from bone-chilling remains after a broadside mutiny leads to a deadly end and a murderous beginning. Set Sail for Four New Scenarios Embark on a voyage through four new, intertwined scenarios shrouded in mystery. The narrative unfolds across diverse settings, journeying from a secluded island, where treasure lies buried, to the treacherous high seas aboard a pirate ship, where an inescapable curse awaits those who dare. Compile the Treasure Map To navigate the seven seas, you must first solve the puzzle and piece together fragments of ancient parchment to assemble a map allowing you to pilfer the coveted treasure. Cursed Treasures Traverse into the plundered treasures curses ripple effects over 130 years as stolen riches inevitably lead to ruin. Can this curse be broken or will it endure an eternity?
