Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak

If you enjoy strategy games where every unit placement matters, this one is worth your time. It follows an expedition that sets out to investigate a strange anomaly deep in the desert and quickly learns that the sand is not forgiving. The mood is lonely and tense, and the maps are big enough that the first hours go into just learning how the terrain works. What to expect: - Early missions teach you to slow down: scout first, then commit your forces, because mistakes show. - Ambushes in the dunes and fights for high ground make terrain matter as much as unit count. - The campaign of 13 missions holds together as one story rather than a string of disconnected skirmishes. - Multiplayer lets you play with friends, and ranked battles give you a reason to keep coming back. You receive the game as a Steam gift: the bot adds you as a friend using your quick invite link and sends the gift to your account.
