Description

System requirements

Blending Arctic and Volcanic terrain, Frostfall is a dangerously beautiful environment to build your winter chalet... or evil lair.

This expansion is for players who feel the usual ICARUS locations have grown too familiar and want a change of scenery. Everything here runs on contrast: frozen tundra sits right next to rivers of lava, and the landscape shifts within a few steps. The mood is grim but beautiful, especially when the sun goes down or comes up over the rocky terraces. Why grab it: - Your first hours will go to figuring out where the rare patches of plant life hide in all that cold and how to gather resources without taking needless risks. - There are many caves and hollows beneath the surface. They are easy to miss, and that is usually where the good stuff is. - The outpost suits players who already know the basics of ICARUS and want to test themselves on a more demanding, detailed piece of the map. - It is a single location, but there is enough variety in it to keep things fresh after a few expeditions. The expansion requires the base game ICARUS on your account. Place your order, send your Steam friend invite link, and we will add you as a friend and send the game to you as a Steam gift. The Frostfall Outpost is a handcrafted 1x1 km map of the Arctic and Volcanic regions of Icarus. - Large rivers and lakes of Lava break up a rugged and frozen tundra on the surface, blending fire and ice in stark contrast to one another - Beneath the surface are caverns and caves, difficult to find but apocalyptically beautiful as well - Patches of flora find refuge in the few fertile areas of the map, giving you the necessary resources and shelter from the elements - The tiered landscape provides one of the most beautiful visuals at sunup and sundown, making this our most detailed and stunning Outposts yet 'Frostfall' will appear in your Outposts screen.
