Description

System requirements

High in the mountains, on terraced cliffs or a large flat frozen lake give you a range of altitudes in which to build your perfect winter retreat.

Iceholm Outpost is for players who already know the ICARUS maps and want something colder and more open. This is an arctic location where the real problem is not the monsters but the wind and deciding where to put your base. Buy Icarus: Iceholm Outpost (DLC) Steam gift and it will be sent to your account. The highlights: - The first sessions go to picking a spot: the north has wide flat ground for building, but almost no cover, so you have to decide what matters more. - The south is built on terraced cliffs and pine slopes, with sheltered coves, so a base there feels very different from one on the open ice. - The hill in the middle works well as a lookout, with the lake and the ice craters both in view and a place to wait out bad weather. - At 1x1 km the map is small enough to learn quickly, and in a duo both players can keep track of every corner. After purchase you receive the DLC as a Steam gift: send us your quick invite link, we add you as a friend and send the game to your account. You need the base ICARUS game on your account. The Iceholm Outpost is a handcrafted 1x1km map in the Arctic region of Icarus. - A vast frozen lake blankets the north of the map, with little shelter but large flat expanses you can build upon - The south is built on terraced cliffs, adorned with pine forests and sheltered coves - A small mountain sits in the middle of the map, overlooking the lake and a scattering of ice craters that provide respite from the freezing winds 'Iceholm' will appear in your Outposts screen.
