System requirements

Play as Mad Max, a reluctant hero and survivor who wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace.

Mad Max is for players who like gritty, mean survival games and don't mind that a car is the only real way to get anywhere. The wasteland is dusty and hostile, and every drive across it feels like a dare: fuel is running low and someone is already waiting behind the next dune with a crossbow. What hooks you: - Your first hours go into building and upgrading your car, because nothing much happens in the wasteland without it, and you feel that every minute. - Fistfights and car battles run on the same logic: you decide who to leave alive first, then decide how to deal with them. - Unlike most open worlds, every camp has to be stormed rather than simply marked on the map. - The world is big and empty, so you'll be exploring it yourself, and that's arguably the best part of the game. The purchase works as a Steam gift: you send your quick invite link, the bot adds you as a friend and sends the game to your account. You can buy Mad Max Steam gift right here, no matter which region your account is in. Online functionality will be retired on October 31, 2020. Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular against vicious gangs of bandits. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied “Plains of Silence.” Players are challenged with treacherous missions as they scavenge the dangerous landscape for supplies to build the ultimate combat vehicle.
