Mycopunk suits players who enjoy messy shootouts and tinkering with gear. It is a game about worn-out robots sent back into the fight, and the world looks rusty, grimy and a little bit unhinged. The story comes at you in pieces, but the fun is in the gunplay and in building strange weapons. Why grab it: - Your first sessions go to getting a feel for how the guns handle and which modifiers work well together. - The upgrade grid pushes you to try odd builds, from a combat medic to a walking bomb. - Missions come quickly, and every new modifier is tempting to test right away in a fight. - Between jobs you return to an orbital ship to rest and read about the galaxy. FUNGICIDAL TENDENCIES Choose from an outrageous arsenal of advanced futuristic weaponry (and some power tools), then supercharge them in a one-of-a-kind grid-based upgrade system to create the ridiculous sci-fi super-weapon of your dreams. BREAK THE MOLD Slaughter hordes of enemies as they corrupt and weaponize the planet's technology against you. Pick crawlies apart piece by piece - but be wary, whatever they drop could be grabbed up by another enemy. LOOT, SHOOT, REPEAT Every mission grants new mods to jam into your upgrade grids. Mix em, match em, and stack em. Whatever upgrades you can fit in are fair game. Piece by piece, your scrappy robots and weapons mutate into finely-tuned death machines (or horrible mistakes of engineering, up to you). Spec into being a healing support, put a deflector shield on a chainsaw, or turn yourself into a bomb (we don't really care).
