This is a roguelike for players who enjoy puzzling out unusual mechanics and don't mind spending an evening on experiments. The tone is calm, but the game throws real problems at you that you have to break down piece by piece. It's a good pick when you want something different rather than another clone with random rooms. What you'll like: - Your first sessions go to figuring out how the universes work: the same item behaves differently depending on where you use it. - The four characters play noticeably differently, so after one run you'll want to try another. - Each hero has four unique dungeons that bring their own story twists and reasons to come back. - In-game hints explain the trickier parts, so the entry barrier is lower than it looks. Each of those health bars you see in the middle of the screen is its own universe. The universes all exist independently from each other, except when they don’t. Each item you use affects all of them, except when they don’t. Don't worry if this all sounds daunting. The game has been carefully designed to be simple to understand and is full of tooltips that explain the less intuitive things (like what the “range” of a set means.) There are four playable characters with their own play-styles, and each player has four unique dungeons that add additional twists. Can you beat all sixteen dungeons? Probably. Can you master all sixteen dungeons? Maybe.
