Description

System requirements

A PSX-style horror game where you manage a photo studio. Restock supplies, buy upgrades, photograph customers and print their order whilst encountering unexpected events.

Photomaly suits anyone who likes atmospheric horror with the feel of old film and a quiet unease that builds slowly. You run a photo studio you inherited from your father, and at first it feels almost routine: pick the right angle, develop the film, print the shots and send them off to clients. The longer you work, the less ordinary it becomes. Why grab it: - The first hours are about routine: framing, developing, printing. That same routine is what makes the tension creep in. - The clients are memorable. Each one has a quirk and a story of their own, and not every request is worth fulfilling. - You can fix up the studio with the money you earn: better gear, new furniture, photos on the walls. It gives you breathing room between the unsettling parts. - The raw PSX look and sound make every detail in the frame feel a little off, which is exactly the point. You get Photomaly as a Steam gift from our store: we add you as a friend using your quick invite link and send the game to your account as a gift. Just send us your quick invite link and the gift arrives straight to your account. Photomaly is PSX-style first-person horror game where you take over the photography studio your father left behind. Process orders from strange customers, decorate your studio and keep an eye out for things that don’t seem quite right... Photography isn’t always as simple as pressing the shutter. Find the perfect angle, develop film under the right conditions, prepare the final photos, and make sure they end up in the right hands. Greet and serve the local community. Each customer comes with their own unique requests, quirks, and stories. Get to know your patrons and fulfil their orders. Just make sure not to pry too deep… When business is slow, customise and decorate your workspace. Hang your favourite prints on the wall or create the perfect wallpaper for your PC. Use your profits to unlock and purchase studio upgrades - better equipment, better setups, better results. Developing films pays the bills, but something isn’t quite right. With every photo taken, you get a little bit closer to [REDACTED]. The [REDACTED] seems to know some things as well…
