Planet Zoo: Arid Animal Pack (DLC)

This add-on is for players who already run a Planet Zoo park and want some fresh, dry-climate residents without starting over. The mood is calm and a little quirky, and the first few hours go into figuring out how to keep desert animals happy with sand, shade and space that feels right for them. What hooks you: - New enclosures need rethinking from scratch, since these animals are built for heat and open ground. - The sand cat and crested porcupine behave very differently from the usual zoo lineup, and they are fun to watch. - There is a dedicated scenario about a wealthy socialite who wants a luxury zoo in the Arabian Desert. - It fits well if you keep expanding one park on your own and want variety without changing the base game. Coming in hot, it’s the Planet Zoo: Arid Animal Pack! Discover the miraculous wildlife of the world’s dunes, deserts and dusty plains by welcoming eight incredible new species to your zoo. These impressive animals include seven habitat species and one exhibit reptile, all emerging from the rocks, ridges and sandy dunes of Earth’s parched plains, sun-baked steppes and driest deserts. Among them are the one-humped dromedary camel, sprightly dama gazelle and distinctive African crested porcupine. Alongside these unique additions, the Arid Animal Pack also features an all-new challenge scenario: rich socialite Tiffany Summers needs your help to found an extraordinary new zoo in the Arabian Desert. EIGHT INCREDIBLE NEW ANIMALS Gaze through the heat haze to discover eight amazing new creatures. Introducing the dromedary camel, African crested porcupine, addax, Somali wild ass, black rhino, sand cat, dama gazelle and the elusive desert horned viper. Watch as your guests observe these remarkable new species with wonder as you construct beautiful habitats that reflect their sunny native homes. ALL-NEW ANIMATIONS Enjoy watching your new animals settle into your zoo and marvel at their unique behaviours. Make sure your guests keep a respectful distance from the dromedary camel; if unnerved, this proud animal has been known to spit at nearby visitors! On a sweeter note, you will also catch sight of the endearing sand cat, one of the smallest species in Planet Zoo. This feline will use enrichment items such as the Rubbing Pads and Cardboard Box in wholly unique ways, whilst the shy African crested porcupine will enjoy burrowing and exploring its habitat, but might raise its impressive quills if feeling cautious. Watch the Somali wild ass trot with delight and hear them bray as they communicate with each other. Pay close attention and satisfy the wants and needs of these incredible creatures to see them thrive under your care! AN EXCITING NEW SCENARIO Ready to face the heat? Make your way to the arid landscape of the Arabian Desert for this new campaign scenario and meet again with your favourite protégée, Tiffany Summers! She has received a brand-new plot of land from her father and is convinced she has what it takes to transform it into one of the world’s most magnificent zoos. Help her prepare for the opening of her new park and throw a big party to celebrate.
