Resident Evil 2 - Original Ver. Soundtrack Swap (DLC)

Description

System requirements

Unlocks the option to change the in-game soundtrack to the original soundtrack and sound effects from the original 1998 release of Resident Evil 2. This can be found in the "Music/SFX Version" section of the Options Menu. Please note this is the same content included in the Extra DLC Pack.

This add-on is for people who remember the original Resident Evil 2 and its tense soundtrack. It does not change the story or gameplay. Instead, it brings back the music and sound effects from the 1998 release inside the remake. If you want to hear familiar tracks in the same rooms and corridors, this one is for you. Why grab it: - Play the remake with the old sound design: switching is done right in the game settings, under the Music/SFX Version section. - Compare the atmosphere: the same places feel noticeably different, even in moments you already know well. - You need the base game Resident Evil 2 on your account, otherwise the add-on won't run. - The content matches what is included in the Extra DLC Pack, so you don't need to buy that pack separately. To buy Resident Evil 2 - Original Ver. Soundtrack Swap (DLC) on Steam, send your Steam quick invite link. The bot adds you as a friend and sends the game to your account as a gift.
