Description

System requirements

Two more factions arrive to challenge your Woodland rule!

This expansion is for players who already know Root and want the woods to feel unpredictable again. The old balance is gone: one side is ready to burn clearings to the ground, while the other fights for ancient relics under strict vows. Matches get sharper when opponents change their tactics, and that is exactly what happens here. What hooks you: - Your first few games go to learning the new factions, whose strengths feel unfamiliar and make old habits stop working. - Rivalries get personal, especially if your group has someone who loves an aggressive playstyle. - Six new challenges in normal and heroic modes give you a reason to keep coming back and set yourself goals. - Eight new achievements push you to try different styles of play. After purchase you receive a Steam gift: we add you as a friend using your quick invite link and send the game as a gift to your account. You can buy Root: The Marauder Expansion (DLC) Steam gift for Global right here. Send us your Steam quick invite link and the gift will arrive on your account. The Marauder Expansion introduces two new factions to the Woodland: the Lord of the Hundreds and Keepers in Iron! Two New Factions! Lord of the Hundreds - Oppress the Woodland and burn it to the ground if need be. You suffer no dissent. Keepers in Iron - Lead your exiled order of devout knights into battle to recover ancient relics. For glory! New Tutorials! Learn the ins-and-outs of our latest arrivals in new Faction Tutorials! New Challenges! Six new challenges with both Normal and Heroic modes test your strategic wiles! New Achievements! Eight new achievements push you to conquer the Woodland as never before!
