This is for people who enjoy a slow loop of catch, clean, sell, upgrade, and don't mind noticing that the fishing has gone a little strange. The mood is calm with a bit of unease underneath, and the deeper you go, the odder things get. What to expect: - Your first sessions go to the basics: cast a line, pick your gear, and figure out what your catch is worth. Then the money starts coming in, and you want to spend it on whatever makes the next catch faster. - Your customers aren't people, and each one wants something different. An otter wants one thing, a heron another, and guessing what will please them is often more fun than the order itself. - Four fishing spots, each with its own feel, from the scenery and fish species to the puzzles hiding below the surface. - The story is scattered across the water rather than dumped on you in dialogue, so you piece together what's going on yourself. Each location comes with its own: - atmosphere and environment - gear - fish species - hidden paths and secrets - puzzles, treasures, and strange things waiting below The deeper you go, the less this feels like a simple fishing job. Your customers are not human. Some are cute. Some are mythical. Some are exactly the kind of creatures you wouldn’t expect to order dinner from a tiny robot on a boat. Serve wild animals like otters, axolotls, and herons, alongside beings inspired by myth and folklore, including legends such as Nessie and Kelpie. Each customer has their own personality, appetite, and favorite fish. Learn who likes what, deliver the right catch, and you might earn a very generous tip. Serve badly, and… well, they’ll have opinions. There’s more than fish hiding underwater, and definitely more lore than anyone reasonably expects from a game about fishing.
