Civilization IV is for players who enjoy long sessions where each decision sets up the next one. You choose how to reach victory: through science, war, diplomacy or culture. The mood is calm, but the tension builds fast once a neighbouring nation starts eyeing your cities. Why grab it: - The first hours go on picking a civilization and placing your starting cities, and by the middle of a game you see your own story taking shape turn by turn. - Single-player is the main draw here: AI rivals remember what you did and react to it instead of following a fixed script. - Modding is easier to get into than in many games of the genre, so the community keeps adding new scenarios and rules. - LAN play still works, so you can set up a game with friends on one machine or across a local network. You get a Steam gift: the bot adds you as a friend using your Quick Invite link and sends the game to your account as a gift. To buy Sid Meier's Civilization® IV as a Steam gift, just send your Quick Invite link.
