SimRail - The Railway Simulator: CD 163 Series (DLC)

Description

System requirements

Take control of the iconic ČD 163 “Peršing” electric locomotive and experience classic European rail traction in SimRail. This DLC delivers a detailed cab, authentic sounds and satisfying, realistic handling for everyday passenger and freight service.

This add-on is for players who like to sit in the cab and figure out how a machine behaves under their hands. The ČD 163 is not about racing or flashy visuals, it is about calm work with traction and brakes on a long run. The mood is unhurried, but it asks for real attention. Why grab it: - The first trips go to getting comfortable in the cab: where each switch sits, how traction feels on departure, and how not to overbrake on a downhill. - The locomotive handles both passenger and freight trains, so you can switch tasks without swapping engines. - Among the electric locos in SimRail, this one stands out in character: it drives softer and rewards attention to power modes instead of simply pressing the pedal. - If you collect rolling stock, the ČD 163 becomes a distinct entry in your lineup. The purchase works as a Steam gift: we add you as a friend using your quick invite link and send the game as a gift to your account. The ČD 163 “Peršing” DLC brings one of Central Europe’s most iconic electric locomotives to SimRail. Designed for players who appreciate classic railway engineering, this locomotive offers a rewarding driving experience focused on smooth power control, precise braking and immersion. Faithfully recreated with a fully interactive cab, realistic traction behavior and authentic audio, the ČD 163 captures the unmistakable character of a locomotive that served for decades in regular operation with České Dráhy. Equally at home on passenger duties and freight services, “Peršing” is a versatile addition to any SimRail collection and a perfect choice for drivers who value realism and atmosphere.
