Spore suits players who like tinkering with details and watching something strange grow from a tiny blob. It is a calm game, but a curious one: each stage changes the rules a little, and you usually want to see what comes next. The highlights: - The first hours go to the creature editor: you build a body from parts and it looks exactly the way you pictured it. - It is a single-player game, but the species you create show up in other players' worlds, so you can wander into creations made by strangers. - The stages follow one another, and choices made early echo through generations and shape the fate of your civilization. - You can skip the start and jump straight to building tribes or colonies on new planets if you want to reach space faster.
