The mood sits closer to bittersweet than epic, and that's what makes it stick. What hooks you: - The first hours go into getting to know your squad through turn-based fights, where one bad move can reshuffle the whole formation. - The characters really push back against what's expected of them, and their choices sometimes break the usual script. - It's short, around 3 hours, so you can finish it in an evening or two without feeling the time was stretched. - Bonding with the team isn't decorative here: you start caring about each of them quickly.
