Terraforming Mars - Hellas & Elysium (DLC)

Description

Explore a new side of Mars with the new Hellas & Elysium maps, each bringing a new set of twists, awards and milestones. From the Southern Wilds to the Other Face of Mars, the taming of the Red Planet continues.

If you already know the usual routes in Terraforming Mars, this expansion gives you a reason to look at the board differently. Both new maps shift where the good placement bonuses sit, and many of them cluster around the volcanoes, so you can miss them fast if you hesitate. What to expect: - The first games on Elysium and Hellas will show that old habits don't always pay off, and you'll have to adjust. - The new placement bonuses open real options: heat on one map, an ocean tile on the other, though the deal works only once. - Awards and milestones change too, so familiar goals look different, from Space Baron to the property dealer objective. - You need the base Terraforming Mars on your account to play. To buy Terraforming Mars - Hellas & Elysium (DLC) as a Steam gift, send us your Steam quick invite link. We'll add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. Explore the other face of Mars through two additional maps, each with their own specificities and strategies, thanks to the Hellas & Elysium DLC. The taming of the Red Planet continues! Discover the astonishing Elysium and the other face of Mars, peppered with some highly valuable placement bonuses. A great deal of them is situated on Olympus Mons and other similar volcanic sites. Grab them quickly or risk losing these spots forever. Hellas brings you to the Hellas Sea and the South Pole. Play around the two new placement bonuses on the map. The first yields heat while the other gives the player an ocean tile in exchange for 6 Megacredits. Such great deal comes only once however. Each map also changes the Awards and Milestones present in Terraforming Mars. From the Space Baron award and Polar Explorer milestone of Hellas to the unique Estate dealer tile objective of Elysium, be prepared to seize new strategic opportunities!
