Set out on a space expedition with sounds of mystery intertwined with deep personal questions. In The Alters, award-winning composer Piotr Musiał joins forces with 11 bit studios to deliver a music score (MP3 and WAV formats) that will shake you to the core.

This soundtrack is for players who have finished The Alters or plan to, and who want to listen to its music on its own, say on the way to work or during a walk. The mood shifts a lot: calm and thoughtful one moment, tense and uneasy the next, as if danger is closing in. Buy The Alters: Original Soundtrack on Steam as a gift, available Global. The highlights: - The tracks vary a lot: some carry the feeling of discovering new worlds, others push you forward in the most intense moments. - The music holds your attention even without the visuals, so it works well as background listening and you'll keep coming back to favourite tracks. - Peter Musial's style from Frostpunk is recognisable here, but the sound is noticeably broader and more varied. - It's a good way to extend the experience of the game after the final credits. To receive the soundtrack, send us your Steam quick invite link. We'll add you as a friend and send the soundtrack as a gift to your account. The soundtrack requires the base game The Alters on your account. Faced with the grandeur of an alien planet, one must feel a deep push to look inward. Piotr Musiał, known for his epic and haunting soundtrack for the Frostpunk series, travels to space for a sci-fi journey about survival that becomes very personal. His OST for The Alters is as diverse as the dedicated game’s unique blend of genres. You will hear a classic sense of wonder fitting of an adventure game as well as dynamic notes that coalesce with a desperate bid for survival. Piotr Musiał: In every genre of music you can find something cool, something that will inspire and intrigue you. [...] I like to draw upon this diversity in search of what I hear deep in my soul.
