Trailmakers: Airborne Expansion (DLC)

This expansion is for anyone already building machines in Trailmakers who wants to take them above the clouds. It adds a new world of deserts, mountains and floating islands, and the story is simple and fun: rescue the fluffy Puhanchiks from robot pirates. The mood is light and playful, but it doesn't drag. The highlights: - Your first hours will go to building a flying machine and seeing how it handles over the new maps. - Quests from the Puhanchiks reward you with blocks, engines, wings and boosters, so your builds level up quickly. - The sandbox is much bigger, and you can start almost anywhere, but some zones are clearly more dangerous, so it pays to prepare. - The pirates fight with planes, airships and speeders, and fights feel better once you have your own gear. The expansion requires the base game Trailmakers on the account. You receive a Steam gift: we add you as a friend via a quick invite link and send the game as a gift. Global region, any Steam account region. In the Trailmakers: Airborne Expansion you will take to the skies in an epic campaign to save the peaceful Chirpos from the pesky Robot Pirate invasion. Campaign In this mission-based campaign you will navigate a brand new Trailmakers-world with deserts, mountains, and beautiful floating islands. The local Chirpo population will grant you increasingly challenging quests as you progress deeper into the dangerous Robot Pirate territory. As you complete their quests you will receive blocks, parts, engines, wings, thrusters and so much more - giving you all the tools you need to soar the skies majestically like an eagle. Friendly- and enemy NPCs The Chirpos are friendly, fuzzy and flightless birds. They hold up in villages scattered across the land - the lucky ones anyway. The less fortunates ones are held in Robot Pirate captivity and the Chirpo Mayor of each village will kindly ask that you bring them home safely. The Robot Pirates are evil, ruthless and quite agile dog fighters. They will defend their newly invaded territory with fighter planes, flak cannons, blimps, hot air balloons and ground speeders. They are a “shoot first, ask later” kind of people so we advise you to implement the same strategy. Sandbox map The new map is a big one - and it’s open for you to explore as you please. You choose your own path but beware: Some areas are more dangerous than others and it’s wise to make sure you are geared up properly before heading into certain areas.
