Train Sim World® 3: Amtrak's Acela® (DLC)

This add-on is for players who enjoy the feeling of speed without a lot of extra fuss. If you like steadily driving a heavy train along a familiar route, Acela shows you another side: the train flies, passengers sit in first class cars, and you keep everything under control from the cab. The highlights: - Your first sessions go to getting used to the cab and the speed: acceleration here feels much stronger than on regular commuter trains. - The Boston to Providence stretch and the suburbs between New York and Trenton give different tasks: sometimes you push for maximum speed, sometimes you brake carefully before the station. - Active tilt on curves makes the ride more comfortable for passengers and more engaging for you, since you have to think about every bend in the track. - The train is based on real history: Acela debuted in 2000 and is still the fastest way to travel between the East Coast states. You can buy Train Sim World® 3: Amtrak's Acela® (DLC) here: send us your Steam quick invite link and we will send the game as a gift straight to your account. The add-on requires Train Sim World® 3 on the account. Works in any Steam region. America’s Fastest Train! Race along Northeast Corridor rails in iconic style, reaching incredible speeds through multiple states and suburbs. “Train approaching, please remain behind yellow line”, Amtrak’s Acela® blasts into Train Sim World 3! Celebrate American rail with the Train Sim World 3: US Super Bundle! Operate Amtrak’s flagship service on the Northeast Corridor. Beginning in 2000, the Acela service offers the fastest and most direct connection with the principal states that make-up the East Coast of the US. Competing directly with air travel, the Acela service features Business Class and First Class accommodations, and makes easy work of the route, being able to reach speeds, on limited sections, up to 150 mph. The Acela trainset itself is a marvel of engineering. First taking shape in the late 1990s, the design is heavily derived from the famed TGV, albeit with changes to meet US requirements. The intermediate coaches are equipped with active tilting technology, easing the strain on passengers on tighter corners, allowing for travel at higher speeds. A total of 20 Acela trainsets were built specifically for use on the Northeast Corridor, carrying thousands of people every day. Although next generation Acela II equipment is planned to start replacing the original Acela trains in the future, you can forever climb aboard this iconic trainset in Train Sim World 3! Experience high-speed action on the fastest stretch between Boston and Providence or serve the megalopolis hub between New York and Trenton.
