Train Sim World® 4: Expert DB BR 101 & IC Steuerwagen Loco Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for players who already drive in Train Sim World 4 and want every run to need attention. The German BR 101 pulls long-distance passenger trains, and here it feels heavy, alive and a bit temperamental. The mood is calm, but you need to stay focused from the first minute. Why grab it: - Early on, your time goes to learning the driver's displays: without understanding the panel, even getting moving is tricky. - The fault system makes you keep an eye on the machine's condition instead of just pressing the throttle and watching the scenery. - The IC Steuerwagen cab completes the locomotive, and trains built from these coaches make up familiar German express services. - This is one of the most detailed locomotives in TSW 4, so if you enjoy learning equipment, you will feel more confident on every second run. You receive the add-on as a Steam gift: we add you as a friend via your quick invite link and send the game to your account. You can buy Train Sim World® 4: Expert DB BR 101 & IC Steuerwagen Loco Add-On (DLC) right here, Global. Take on the ultimate challenge and step into a new level of simulation. From the talent of TSG comes a new, greatly enhanced rendition of the DB BR 101 locomotive for Train Sim World 4, complete with unparalleled, in-depth screen functionality, operational failures and of course, the IC Steuerwagen! In the early 1990s, a majority of Germany’s express passenger services were operated by ageing locomotives, including the DB BR 103 and DB BR 120. Both had been hauling heavier trains than they were designed for, resulting in damage over time, poor reliability rates and rising maintenance costs. Germany was in desperate need of a new express passenger locomotive. DB signed a deal with ABB which would develop into an order of 145 locomotives, with the first locomotive completed by July 1996. With ABB merging with AEG to form ADtranz, locomotives would be built quicker in multiple locations. The first of the new DB BR 101 officially entered service in February 1997. In the subsequent 27 years, the BR 101 has proven itself to be a capable, high-speed passenger locomotive - working as the backbone of DB’s Inter-City services throughout Germany. In Train Sim World 4, TSG have taken the existing DB BR 101, originally released for Train Sim World 2, and transformed it into TSW’s first Expert/Study Level loco add-on! Rebuilt from the ground up, the DB BR 101 now features a full in-depth simulation including; overhauled physics, full internal simulation with machine room and all interactive fuses, temperature simulation, fault simulation, authentic PZB data entry, GSM-R and more. Accompanying the BR 101 is the sleek and popular IC cab car! Built with the same level of simulation, the Bpmmbdzf 286.1 allows for fully authentic push-pull Inter-City services throughout Germany. Key Features - BR 101 electric locomotive in DB Traffic Red and IC White liveries with expert level functionality: - Full internal simulation with all fuses and controls, including the machine room - Complete overhaul of physics, including temperature simulation with window demisting - A fault module to generate random faults for an additional challenge - GSM-R simulation, down to indivisual cell towers - True to life PZB data entry, switch between U, M and O modes with correct train length and speed data input - Optional easier mode for more accessible functionality - Brand-new Bpmmbdzf 286.1 cab car, built to the same functionality level as the BR 101 - Updated Bpmmz and Avmmz coaches - Detailed Tutorials on the Training Center and a comprehensive manual available online (manual available in English and German only) - 3 Scenarios and an alternative timetable for Bahnstrecke Salzburg - Rosenheim - An alternative timetable that features the Expert 101 and cab car on Nahverkehr Dresden - Riesa - Explore Germany and beyond with the train in Free Roam - Livery Designer and Scenario Planner compatible.
