Train Sim World® 4: Sherman Hill: Cheyenne - Laramie Route Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for players who enjoy heavy trains and long climbs. There is no rush here: you pull a loaded train through the Wyoming mountains, watch your load and keep the locomotive working on the grade until the summit is behind you. The mood is calm and almost meditative, but one lapse on a steep section and the train will quickly remind you who is in charge. Why grab it: - At first, your time goes to learning the climb: you need to plan your power so you don't stall on the grade and lose speed. - The Cheyenne to Laramie run is short in distance but dense with events, so a trip never turns into dull waiting. - Union Pacific locomotives feel heavier and more powerful than many familiar machines, and the difference shows right away. - It works both for solo runs and for anyone who wants to roll through the route at their own pace. The purchase is delivered as a Steam gift: you send your Steam quick invite link, we add you as a friend and send the game to your account. Region: Global, any Steam account region works. Experience all the grandeur of big-time, modern American freight railroading - bustling and constant action, tough grades, powerful diesels, majestic western scenery, and extraordinary history - come together on Union Pacific’s legendary Sherman Hill for Train Sim World®. It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, the Sherman Hill route now features the same volumetric skies and lighting as introduced in Train Sim World® 3! Sherman Hill stretches 58 miles between the classic railroad cities of Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming, crossing the Continental Divide at an elevation of 8,015 feet. One of the crowning achievements of America’s Transcontinental Railroad, the crossing of Sherman Hill was built in the early 1860s and ever since has been a mecca of American railroading at its best. Throughout the decades, Sherman Hill, with its tough 1.5 percent westbound grade across the Laramie Mountains, has been home to Union Pacific’s biggest and best motive power, with today’s third-generation, high-horsepower diesels hauling double stacks, autos, manifest freight, coal, and more. Climb aboard Union Pacific’s modern and potent 4,300-horsepower Electro-Motive SD70ACe and veteran 3,000-horsepower EMD SD40-2 to forward tonnage between sprawling yards at Cheyenne and Laramie. Included with the route are 7 types of modern freight equipment. Choose how you want to play; operate trains, complete the route tasks, or simply pick a vantage point and watch the action unfold.
