Train Sim World® 5: Cathcart Circle Line: Glasgow - Neilston & Newton Add-On (DLC)

This add-on suits players who enjoy calm suburban rides on familiar routes and watching the scenery change outside the cab. The Cathcart Circle Line around Glasgow is relaxed and unhurried, with long runs between stations and a steady rhythm of stops. The highlights: - The first hours go to getting used to the Class 314 in Saltire livery: the train is simple but has its own character, and its handling becomes familiar fast. - You can run the loop clockwise or counterclockwise, or build your own route between Glasgow, Newton and Neilston and avoid repeating the same run. - The route has been updated to the series standard, with refreshed vegetation, track and signal effects, and brighter station lighting. - The branch to Neilston and its terminal siding give separate tasks for anyone who likes careful shunting work. The Cathcart Circle Line and its branches date back to the late 1800s, the line between Glasgow and Cathcart via Mount Victoria opened in 1866, with the circle being completed via Shawlands in 1894. Neilston station followed close behind, opening in 1903, with the branches between there and Newton acting as a through route for coal trains.
