Train Sim World® 5: MBTA Providence/Stoughton Line HSP46 Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for players who already run the Northeast Corridor in Train Sim World 5 and want something new in the roster. You get behind the HSP46, and around you is the familiar Boston commuter network with double-deck coaches. The mood is calm and workmanlike: you keep to the timetable and think more about your passengers than about speed. What you'll like: - At first, your time goes to learning the new cabs. There are four of them, and each feels different, so you won't master them overnight, but you won't get bored either. - The conductor mode stands out: checking tickets and handling the doors adds a routine that regular runs often lack. - Three new scenarios give you varied work, from forming a consist to clearing a failed train off the line. - The Stoughton branch is single-track and non-electrified, and driving it feels noticeably different. The purchase goes through as a Steam gift: you send a quick invite link, the bot adds you as a friend and sends the add-on to your account. You can buy Train Sim World® 5: MBTA Providence/Stoughton Line HSP46 Add-On (DLC) here, with delivery for Global accounts, but the base game Train Sim World® 5 must be on the account to play it. Diversify your diesel fleet along the Northeast Corridor in Train Sim World 5 with the addition of the HSP46! Operate MBTA’s busy Providence/Stoughton Line with modern motive power, serving the commuters of Massachusetts with double-deck duty. Built between 2013 and 2014, the HSP46 marked a new era for MBTA as they were able to replace ageing equipment on their key commuter services into the city of Boston. Putting passengers first from the offset, MBTA allowed members of the public to pick the livery for this new fleet of locomotives, resulting in a striking application of angled magenta, accented with yellow, grey and black. Originally released as part of the MBTA Commuter: Framingham/Worcester Line, the HSP46 now comes raring for service along the high-speed Northeast Corridor in Train Sim World. Share tracks with express Amtrak services along MBTA’s Providence route, or leave the wires for a stint along the single-track Stoughton branch. In the 3 new scenarios, take on additional challenges such as building formations, and rescuing trains. Check tickets and operate the doors in Conductor Mode. Work in tandem with the MBTA F40 and single-deck cars, as well as with the capacity-boosting bi-level cars and cab car. With 4 cabs to choose from in push/pull operations, race your way to Boston with the MBTA Providence/Stoughton Line HSP46!
