Train Sim World® 5: Thameslink BR Class 700/0 EMU Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for anyone who has wanted to take the controls of a modern suburban electric train and run the routes around Kent and Medway. The mood is calm and businesslike: morning runs, a tight timetable, and passengers who expect you to arrive on time. Why grab it: - At first, your time goes to learning the cab with its central driver's seat and new displays, and there is plenty to get used to. - The Dartford to Rainham section rewards careful timekeeping, especially at busy stops where the train fills up. - Compared with older units in the series, the train handles noticeably differently on acceleration and braking, which changes how you drive. - You can play solo at your own pace, simply running services to the timetable. Modern commuting doesn’t get any better than this, experience the state-of-the-art Desiro City and crunch capacity through the Medway Towns with the Thameslink BR Class 700/0, ready for Kentish service in Train Sim World®! The Thameslink Programme, a phrase which is ingrained into the minds of every Southeast commuter, was the radical transformation of travel through the centre of London. The plan? Upgrade and expand the Thameslink network with better connections, as well as a brand-new fleet of rolling stock. Developed from the existing Desiro UK family, and based on passenger feedback, the Class 700 was born. A revolution in every right, the new Desiro City family brought all-new efficiency, capacity, and frequency to Thameslink’s network. Capable of moving over 1000 passengers each, with a massively increased fleet, it was only natural to expand cross-London destinations. In May 2018, the classic Southeastern London Charing Cross to Gillingham service was withdrawn and replaced with an all-new Luton to Rainham service, operated by Thameslink. Take on the role of driving the Class 700/0 between Dartford and Rainham, stick to the schedule and provide the bolstered capacity to Kent and Medway. The centrally seated, capacious cab offers a view unlike any other, complete with modern screens and ergonomic controls for a truly 21st Century driving experience. With scenario planning and livery designing, embark on as many journeys as you please, making full use of the dual-mode AC and DC functionality.
