Train Sim World® 5: West Midlands Railway & CrossCountry BR Class 170 DMU Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for players who already run the Cross City line in Train Sim World® 5 and want something new. The Class 170 pulls harder and sounds different, and the Lickey incline on diesel power is a real test of patience. Nothing here is rushed, but every stop and every overtake feels earned. Why grab it: - The first hours take you through familiar Birmingham, only now on diesel power, and you feel the difference the moment you leave the station. - The Birmingham New Street to Bromsgrove run has short sections that make it easy to find a rhythm and learn the timetable. - Overtaking Class 323 trains adds a bit of lively traffic, and busy stretches make you plan ahead. - The WMR and XC liveries and the 170/5 and 170/6 variants give you a reason to drive different versions of the same train. You can buy it right here as a Steam gift: the bot adds you as a friend via your quick invite link and sends the game to your account. Train Sim World® 5 must already be on the account. Global, any Steam account region. Return to the rails of Birmingham and tackle the Lickey Incline in diesel traction. From Rivet Games, their Class 170 thrashes into the Midlands for additional Cross-City line services in not just one, but two distinct liveries; West Midlands Railway and CrossCountry! The Class 170 has been a recognisable part of UK regional and longer-distance services for the past 25 years and continues to be a staple for connecting towns and cities that do not feature wholly electrified railways. Across multiple variants and fleet shuffles, they have taken on many roles and paint schemes over the past few decades. Originally part of Rivet Games’ Fife Circle Line as the ScotRail Class 170/4, the iconic turbo now stars in a new role, filling out and enhancing the Cross-City Line. Including both the 170/5 and 170/6 subclasses, with detail changes such as original headlights, updated cabs and interiors, the Class 170 is now presented in West Midlands Railway livery, as well as the far-reaching CrossCountry livery! In Train Sim World, step into the cab of the Class 170 and take on new Cross-City challenges. Operate both WMR & XC services between Birmingham New St and Bromsgrove, calling only at University, and overtaking Class 323 traffic. Patiently power up the famed Lickey Incline, it’s no small feat with diesel-powered stock! Layers make the route feel as busy as England’s second city should be, and the XC livery is perfect for roaming around the UK! Please Note: For the full experience, we recommend you own Train Sim World 5: Birmingham Cross-City Line which is available as a separate purchase.
