Train Sim World® 6: West Coast Main Line: Birmingham - Crewe Route Add-On (DLC)

This add-on is for players who enjoy calm, unhurried runs rather than complicated shunting. You take the controls of a BR Class 350 electric unit and run the northern suburbs of Birmingham, where the stops come quickly and the rhythm of city commuting is easy to settle into. The mood is relaxed, almost meditative, especially as the industrial scenery of Staffordshire rolls past the window. What hooks you: - Early on, your time goes to learning the timetable, stops and braking on the short sections between stations. - The route runs through Wolverhampton and Stafford, where the busier stretches ask for more attention. - You get several liveries and variants of the Class 350, so you can pick the train that suits you. - It plugs into the same WCML line as the base game, so there is nothing new to learn in the controls. The add-on is delivered as a Steam gift: send the bot your Steam quick invite link, and it will add you as a friend and send the game as a gift to your account. The base Train Sim World 6 needs to be on your account already. Race through the heart of the Black Country and serve West Midlands commuters with All Aboard Studios’ debut route, Train Sim World 6: West Coast Main Line: Birmingham - Crewe! Embark on modern passenger services from the cab of the versatile & varied BR Class 350 EMU. The West Coast Main Line was built by many smaller companies during the birth of the railway era, but the central and oldest section of the route was the Grand Junction Railway. Perhaps one of the oldest long-distance railways in the World, the GJR was designed to link the famed Liverpool & Manchester to Birmingham. Their chosen route weaved out of Birmingham to Stafford via Wolverhampton, before heading up to Crewe. In the following years since its opening in 1837, and with additions like the Stour Valley Line via Dudley, the line played a strategic role in the development of the industrial Black Country and saw a boom in traffic. With the eventual merge to create the LNWR, and later LMS, the route became a vital section of the WCML, Britain’s busiest main line. In Train Sim World 6, become a driver or conductor aboard bustling commuter services along the iconic Birmingham - Crewe section of the WCML, during the transitional 2019 era. At the controls of the Class 350 in multiple liveries and variants, call at all local stations in the northwest suburbs of Birmingham and into Wolverhampton, join additional traffic at Stafford, then open the throttle and race to historic Crewe. Dial the speed up to 11 and turn the WCML into a racetrack with layers such as the Avanti West Coast Pendolino (available separately).
